To address this significant global market demand for such professionals, the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Curtin University of Technology, Australia, offers a B. Sc. Degree in Computer Systems and Networking (CSN) in Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). |

| The Programme |
|

This degree programme encompasses Computer Technology in terms of both Hardware and Software as well
as Computer Communications and Networking.
The programme is identical to the one conducted at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
of Curtin University. This is a three-year full time Degree programme, offered during weekdays at SLIIT. On successful completion, the Degree certificate will be awarded by the Curtin University of Technology, Australia.
After completing the first two years of the programme, students are also entitled to obtain Edexcel Higher
National Diploma in Network Engineering.
All contents of CCNA 1-4, Fundamentals of Wireless LANs and CISCO Network Security l -2 will be covered in this
course.
Students who have successfully completed the programme are eligible for CISCO Certified Network Associate, CISCO
Wireless LAN support Specialist and CISCO Certified Security Professional Certifications.

A semester fee of Rs. 70,000/= + 15% (Govt. Taxes)
and a Curtin University fee of AUD$ 400 per
semester will have to be paid for a period of three

How to Apply
- Interested candidates should send in the Application using the specimen form given
here. The form can also be downloaded from the SLIIT website
- Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs.500/- for the Aptitude Test & Processing.
- This fee should be paid at any branch of the Bank of Ceylon in favour of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology to the current account No.1630552 at Bank of Ceylon, Kollupitiya or at any branch of Sampath Bank in favour of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology to the current account No. 0039 9000 0033 at Sampath Bank.
