The Foundation Certificate in Information Technology (FCIT) programme designed by SLIIT in collaboration with the
Edexcel UK and Curtin University of Technology Australia offers a
unique pre-university pathway course for students who do not satisfy the undergraduate academic entry requirements to
university.
Successful completion of this programme entitles students to gain entry to the Diploma in Information Technology
programme at SLIIT and then proceed with the Curtin University degree programme conducted by SLIIT. |

Students who successfully complete the programme are eligible to receive
the Foundation Certificate in IT. |

| The location for the conduct of the Foundation Certificate Programme is the
SLIIT Metropolitan Campus at the BoC Merchant Tower,
Kollupitiya, Colombo 03. The BoC Merchant Tower is an impressive and an
imposing building with a panoramic view of blue expanse of the Indian Ocean to
the West and a misty mountain range to the East. With its modern infrastructure,
BoC Merchant Tower provides a fine conducive environment for study and research. |

| SLIIT Diploma 1 Year and 2 Year: (4 Semesters) |

at the G. C. E Ordinary Level (Sri Lanka) Examination obtained at one

subject and English at the G. C. E Ordinary Level (London) Examination
obtained at one and the same sitting |
AND
A Pass at the Aptitude Test
