Having the purpose of providing necessary knowledge in Information Technology for students who are sitting for Advanced Level Examination next year, SLIIT participated in a GIT seminar organized by the Kegalle Zonal Education Zone on 3rd December 2009 at Kegalle Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Kegalle.

Over 500 school students from 10 different schools in Kegalle Educational Zone attended this seminar with the intention of achieving a higher grade at the examination. The programme was very important as the students got a great opportunity in learning the subject, free of charge.
