BSc in Information Technology (BIT)

The Program

This is a three-year (six semester) Programme of study approved by the University Grants Commission . This degree programme is designed in such a manner that the candidates have several entry and exit options as indicated in the study pathway.
Students who receive the NDIT qualification after two years of study are also eligible to receive BTEC Higher National Diploma in IT ( BTEC - HND) of the United Kingdom . Students who successfully complete the NDIT can complete the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree of the SLIIT in one more year or they have the option of completing the B.Sc IT degree in several foreign Universities UK, USA and Australia.

Entry Requirements

Students who have passed the GCE (A/L) examination (Local/London) in one or more subjects and a pass in the Aptitude Test conducted by the SLIIT.
