
On December 05th and 06th, a delegation from the Curtin University Australia conducted our Periodic Review, ensuring we are able to maintain our standards of high quality education consistently. The review is an important part of our system, allowing us to identify any gaps for improvement, so our students both current and future will be able to obtain the best possible opportunities in tertiary education.
The delegation consisted of Professor Jeremy Kilburn, (PVC of Faculty of Science and Engineering as Chair), Professor Seth Kunin (Deputy Vice Chancellor International), Associate Professor Ling Li (Deputy Head, School of Electrical Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences), Professor Jaya A R Dantas, Dean, International, Faculty of Health Science (senior academic staff member, external to the Faculty), Susan Takao (Director, Quality Enhancement) and Michelle Calligaro (Executive Officer to the Panel, Quality Officer, OSP), who met with the Deans of the Faculties of Computing and Engineering, as well as Heads, Curtin Co-ordinators, the International Programmes team, current Curtin 3rd year and 4th year Engineering and Computing students, and Curtin alumni.
