The Faculty of Humanities & Sciences strives to develop professionals in the areas of Education, Science, Mathematics, and Nursing. We have invested heavily in developing the infrastructure required for the upcoming programmes including state-of-the-art laboratories, smart classrooms, access to e-repositories and reference books.
The Faculty also has an experienced and continuously expanding panel of 26 full-time academics including 6 PhDs and 3 Professors.
The first degree programmes offered by the Faculty, BEd (Hons) in Physical Sciences, BEd (Hons) in Biological Sciences and BEd (Hons) in English is now open for admission for the 2018 September intake.
We also have a wide range of upcoming programmes with a view to obtaining a qualification in Education. This spans from a pre-school diploma to a Masters in Education for those who wish to become professionals In Education. For the others, wishing to pursue careers in Biotechnology, Psychology, and Nursing we will be offering 4-year BSc (Hons) degree programmes in each of these fields.
In order to cater to students who will be awaiting results after sitting for the GCE Advanced Level 2018 examinations, we intend to offer two certificate programmes. One in Advanced English and the other in Engineering Physics and this with the idea of preparing them for University or Vocational Education.
