The SLIIT Football team organized the 5-A-Side Freshers’ Football Tournament for SLIIT students. The tournament was held on the 3rd of July at the SLIIT Grounds in Malabe. A total of 28 teams participated. In group 08, 50 matches were held throughout the tournament. After the final stage, the SLIIT Celtic team was crowned champions, and the SLIIT 7 Aces team secured the runners-up position.
