Biz Fest 2025, held on 26th June 2025 at SLIIT Malabe, was a vibrant celebration of innovation, creativity, and student talent, organized by the enthusiastic Orientation students of the March Intake of SLIIT Business School.
The highlight of the event was the Business Proposal Competition, where seven outstanding teams from SLIIT Business School Malabe, SLIIT Kandy Uni, and SLIIT Matara Center competed for the top titles. The competition was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Ms. Pubudini Liyanagama – Assistant Director & Head of Special Projects at the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission, Mr. Dilendra Peiris – Lead Strategist & CEO of REVOSurge Nexus Consultancy Australia, and Mr. Chetaka Gunawardena – Head of Marketing for Skin Cleansing and Baby Care at Unilever Sri Lanka.
Team Bitter Bloom from SLIIT Malabe emerged as the Winners, while Team Safe Rider from SLIIT Malabe and Team Island Frost from SLIIT Kandy Uni secured the 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up positions respectively.
Adding more color and excitement to the event, the audience was treated to a series of musical, drama, and dance performances by the Orientation students, making Biz Fest 2025 a truly unforgettable experience that showcased both entrepreneurial spirit and artistic flair.
