The SLIIT– The University of Queensland – International (UQ) High School Competition: Designing Solutions for Impact 2025 took place on 25th September, at the SLIIT New Academic Building.
We were delighted to welcome delegates from the University of Queensland, Australia: Mr. Janarden Kerwin, Regional Manager (South Asia), Faculty of Business, Economics & Law, and Dr. Shaun Chen, Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering, Architecture & IT. They were joined by Dr. Krishantha Wisenthige, Assistant Professor at the SLIIT Business School, and Ms. Champika Sudusinghe, Director of HMK Plant Nursery Pvt Ltd, as the official judging panel.
Students from Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Matara, Gampaha, and Jaffna came together to share innovative ideas through presentations, collaborate in teams, and explore new opportunities with The University of Queensland – International.
