Granted by the USPTO on 30 December 2025, the patent—“Method of Making Silver Iron Titanate Nanoparticles and Uses Thereof”—highlights SLIIT’s growing international research impact.
Developed by Prof. Sriyani Peiris and Prof. Colin N. Peiris with their research team, the innovation offers a cost-effective, scalable solution with applications in healthcare, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and advanced materials.
