Strengthening Cyber Resilience through Education and Collaboration!
We were honored to welcome Ms. Laurel E. Miller, President & CEO of The Asia Foundation, to SLIIT on November 1st, as part of her Sri Lanka visit to review the progress of our APAC Cybersecurity Fund (ACF) initiative supported by Google.
The discussion, led by Prof. Nuwan Kodagoda, Prof. Anuradha Jayakody, and Mr. Kavinga Yapa Abeywardena, highlighted our first-year achievements; training 176 students and supporting 44 MSMEs through the Digital Hygiene Bootcamp and Cybersecurity Clinics.
We were also joined by Mr. Johann Rebert, Ms. Rukshanie Vidyaratne, Ms. Chiara Wijetunga and Mr. Vivek Adithya from The Asia Foundation, along with Dr. Asanga Tennakoon and Mr. Udai Ranathunga from the Regional Development Bank (RDB), to explore future collaborations that further empower Sri Lanka’s MSME sector.
We’re proud that our impactful work has led to the renewal of the Asia Foundation partnership until 2026, reinforcing our shared vision for a more cyber-resilient Sri Lanka.
