The IESL Student Chapter of SLIIT proudly hosted IESL Day 2025 on 30th September 2025 at the Faculty of Engineering, SLIIT, graced by the presence of Eng. Granie Jayalath, President of IESL, as the Chief Guest.
The event featured inspiring addresses by Eng. Dushyantha Wanniarachchi, YMS Chairman of IESL, on “Empowering the Next Generation of Engineers: The Pivotal Role of IESL in Fostering Skills and Talent Development,” and Eng. Piyumi Kavya Wijegunawardana, IET Young Women Engineer Award Winner, who spoke on “Engineering Challenges into Opportunities: Becoming the Change Makers of Tomorrow.”
The programme also marked the installation of the new board of the IESL Student Chapter of SLIIT, signifying the continuation of our commitment to nurturing young engineering leaders.
