SLIIT FMAS Students Bond through Cricket in Inaugural Tournament

The Financial Mathematics and Applied Statistics (FMAS) students of SLIIT recently organized a cricket tournament featuring six teams: Ratio Riders, ANOVA Avengers, Number Ninjas, Variance Vectors, Hypothesis Heroes, and Matrix Masters. The event brought together around 220 students from all four batches of the Financial Mathematics and Applied Statistics degree programme. The opening ceremony of the tournament was graced by the Dean SLIIT Faculty of Humanities and Sciences Dr. Malitha Wijesundara, Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Rahula Attalage, and Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Prof. Sarath Peiris. The event was a celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie, offering students a fun and competitive experience.
