The 𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, proudly organized by the 𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 in collaboration with the 𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭, concluded with great success.
The second edition of this prestigious league kicked off on 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 and came to an exciting end on 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, as the 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 – 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐈𝐓 – 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧, securing the 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫.
The league featured 12 top universities, along with 30 first-round matches followed by 4 knockout matches — making a total of 34 thrilling encounters, truly marking it as Sri Lanka’s biggest university football league.
