Affiliation with CFA | SBS

SLIIT Business School proudly announces the University Affiliation Program with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute. CFA Institute is affiliated with selected universities around the world that have embedded a significant percentage of the CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge into the university degree programs. It is with pride that we announce that this is the first time that the CFA accredited a non-state university degree in Sri Lanka, and this indeed emphasizes the quality of our degree programs.

The University Affiliation Program ceremony was held on 23rd of September 2022, with the distinguished dignitaries, Ms. Arathi Porwal, Director, Society Relations, CFA, Mr. Aruna Alwis, CEO, CFA Society Sri Lanka, Mr. Sachin Naik, Manager, Candidate & Membership Strategy, CFA Institute, Mr. Travis Gomies Chair, Candidate Outreach Committee. The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Lakshman Rathnayaka, Chairman/Chancellor, SLIIT, Prof. Nimal Rajapaksha, Deputy Vice Chancellor, SLIIT, Prof. Colin Peris , Director, Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Samantha Thelijjagoda, Dean, SLITT, Business School, Prof. Nagalingam Nagendrakumar, Associate Dean, SLIIT Business School and the staff of SLIIT Business School.
