Dr Rukshan Batuwita, a senior data scientist of Ambiata Pty Ltd in Australia was invited to conduct a seminar on Data Science and Big Data Analytics. The seminar was delivered on key technologies and applications and it was mainly focused on Data Science/large-scale Machine Learning techniques and applications.
The event was organised by the Research Wing of the Faculty of Computing jointly with Computer Society of Si Lanka. This was opened for SLIIT academic staff, SLIIT students and CSSL members.
