The Centre for Open and Distance Education (CODE), established by the Industry Engagement Unit of Faculty of Computing – SLIIT with the assistance of SLIIT Marketing division, proudly conducted an online information session on “ Introduction to Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning” on Wednesday, 28th of December 2022, via Zoom. Dr. Lakmini Abeywardhana, Lecturer attached to Faculty of Computing – SLIIT was the resource person for the session.
The objective of this session was to introduce AI and Machine Learning to school and university students, while promoting the recently launched free AI certificate course series by CODE at SLIIT.
The vision of CODE is to disseminate knowledge and empower the youth to meet global skill demands. The Centre offers comprehensive courses molded with hands-on exposure to state-of-the-art technologies to maximize the potential for employability.
