Congratulations to the SLIIT Chess Team for their outstanding achievements in the 7th SLIIT Castle Fest Chess Championship 2024!
This event took place on the 22nd of February 2024 at SLIIT Uni Malabe. Hosted by SLIIT Uni, our university demonstrated dominance across various categories:

Participation from 11 universities including UOK, NSBM, SLTC, Ocean University, IIT, UVPA, KDU, KIU, ICBT, CINEC, and SLIIT was observed this year.
The tournament featured Blitz and Rapid categories with 12 women’s teams and 16 men’s teams in Blitz, and 10 women’s teams and 16 men’s teams in Rapid.
