An awareness session titled ‘When Fun Turns Fatal: Tackling the Tide of Narcotics and Alcohol Abuse’ was conducted for first-year students at SLIIT. The primary objective of this session was to address and prevent drug-related issues. Inspector of Police, Mr. N.M. Lakshman Edirimanana, contributed his expertise as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Training at the Police Narcotic Bureau.
The event, organized by the Student Services Department and Campus Safety and Security Unit, garnered participation from nearly 400 students.
