
SLIIT and Algoma University a�� Canada recently entered into a partnership to provide SLIITa��s Information Technology students the opportunity to transfer to Algoma University to complete the Bachelor of Computer Science degree programmes. Joanne Elvy Director- International Student Outreach, Algoma University and Professor Lalith Gamage, President/CEO of SLIIT exchanged the agreement on behalf of the two institutes.

The partnership with SLIIT will allow SLIIT students to transfer from the SLIIT Information Technology Degree programme to Algoma Universitya��s Bachelor of Computer Science degree programme. SLIIT student will be able to pursue the following programmes at Algoma University; Bachelor of Science in Business Systems Management and Computer Games Technology and Bachelor of Science in Computer Games Technology /Creative Arts.
Algoma University is the only Canadian university to offer degrees in Computer Games Technology, providing students with targeted training in design and programming elements of computer games. This four year program will give students a strong edge in the exciting and highly competitive world of computer game software engineering.
