On 19th June 2024, the staff members of SLIIT came together for an unforgettable evening of camaraderie and music at the Main auditorium in the form of “Poson Bathi Gee Sandawa”. This serene event saw over 150 participants from all faculties and departments forming 9 teams singing 16 songs, each bringing their unique flair and enthusiasm to the stage.
The Chancellor, Prof. Lakshman Ratnayake graced the occasion with his presence enriching its value. The event kicked off with a buzz of excitement as our staff members showcased their vocal talents and team spirit. As each team took their turn, the auditorium was resonated with melodious harmonies and heartfelt music.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every participant for their enthusiasm and commitment in making this event a resounding success. Special appreciation goes to Ms. Jinesha Rupasinghe (Senior Manager, Academic Affairs) for conceptualizing this event and for the special contribution made and Mr. Shaluka Fernando (Lecturer (Tenure Track), Dept. of Civil Engineering) for the meticulous effort put into reaching flawless performances. The support given by the Marketing, FMU, ITSD, Finance, Multimedia Unit (FOC), and Academic Affairs teams to the Human Capital Management team in making this event a success is much appreciated.
