𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – 𝐀 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

The 3rd SLIIT Relay Carnival 2025 took place on February 14th, 2025, at the SLIIT Malabe Grounds. This highly anticipated event brought together some of the best university and school relay teams, making it a spectacular showcase of speed, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Under the University Category, the Men’s, Women’s, and Overall Championship titles were secured by the hosting team, SLIIT. Meanwhile, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) claimed the Men’s, Women’s, and Overall Runners-up titles. In the School Category, Dharmapala Vidyalaya Pannipitiya, dominated the competition, winning both the Boys’ and Girls’ Championship trophies. The School Boys’ Runners-up Trophy was awarded to D.S.Senanayake College, Colombo 07, while Vidyakara Balika Vidyalaya, Maharagama, secured the School Girls’ Runners-up title.

The SLIIT Relay Carnival 2025 was a tremendous success, bringing athletes together in the spirit of competition and camaraderie. Congratulations to all the winners and participants! See you at the 4th edition in 2026 for an even more thrilling event!
