The SLIIT School Reach initiative, in collaboration with SLIIT Codefest, proudly conducted an engaging session titled ‘The Importance of AI as a Smart Student’ for the students of St. Servatius’ College, Matara, on November 18, 2024. The session was expertly facilitated by Mr. Samadhi Rathnayake, Lecturer, and Mr. Nelum Chathuranga, Senior Lecturer, both from the Faculty of Computing. It was organized by the SLIIT Matara Centre.
We are a leading non-state higher education institute approved by the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Our Civil and Mechanical engineering degrees are recognized by IESL, Sri Lanka. SLIIT is the first Sri Lankan institute to be accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology, UK. We've been ranked 8th in Sri Lanka and emerged as the number 1 non-state higher education institution in Sri Lanka.
