“Guru Viru” CSR project came to a successful conclusion at Sandalankawa Central College

On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, the ninth session of the “Guru Viru” CSR project came to a successful conclusion at Sandalankawa Central College. Dr. Virajith Gamage, Senior Lecturer (HG) of SLIIT Faculty of Humanities and Sciences led a session titled “A New Approach to the Classroom” that aimed to promote both learning and teaching by fostering a positive mindset in a new educational setting. The workshop provided in-depth knowledge and a range of techniques to effectively teach students in the modern era to shine as a beloved teachers. The SLIIT Marketing team also gave the participants a briefing on the opportunities available at SLIIT for them to advance their knowledge and skills in order to find new avenues in the educational career.

The deputy director of education, assistant director of education of the Giriulla education zone, the principal and members of the academic staff from Sandalankawa National College attended this occasion. A few other principals who attended the event requested for another session for the rest of the teachers in Giriulla education zone.
