Career Summary
Experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in both academia and industry. My expertise has been developed through a combination of hands-on experience, rigorous academic training, and a passion for innovation. Throughout my career, I have held a variety of positions that have allowed me to expand my skill set and deepen my understanding of the field of Civil Engineering.
Starting as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka. After completing my studies, I worked as a Civil Engineer at the Road Development Authority and went on to hold a Graduate Rserach and Teaching Assistant role at the University of British Columbia . I have also held several key positions in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems, including Project Manager at the Centre for Intelligent Transport Systems at the University of Moratuwa and Traffic Engineer at ACE Solutions.
I am currently working as a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, where I am able to share my expertise and passion for Civil Engineering with the next generation of engineers. I am dedicated to advancing the field of Civil Engineering and am always seeking new opportunities to do so.
