Career Summary
- Navodya Rajapakse is a lecturer in English, attached to the Faculty of Science and Humanities, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Malabe.
- She joined SLIIT in 2015 and has been engaged in various academic activities while being the module coordinator for Communication Skills (IT 1040).
- Furthermore, she works as a SLIIT partner, under the title University Associate of Faculty of Science and Englineering at Curtin University.
- In addition, she provides her services to SLIIT as the Communication Skills module coordinator since 2017
- Prior to that she had also been English for Academic Purposes module coordinator from 2016-2017
- She is also a visiting lecturer and an external examiner at ELTU, University of Kelaniya since 2017 to date
- She had also been a visiting lecturer at University of Colombo from 2016 to 2018
- Prior joining SLIIT, she had been a lecturer at the English Language Teaching Unit, at the University of Kelaniya. In fact, she had been a member of the ELTU Research Group as well.
- She had also been an intern as a translator, in 2013, at the Ministry of External Affairs, Sri Lanka.
- Moreover, she had been a member of the Faculty of Computing and Hackathon Organizing Committees of CODEFESTs held in 2016 to 2017 respectively.
