Career Summary

Navodya Rajapakse is a lecturer in English, attached to the Faculty of Science and Humanities, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Malabe.
She joined SLIIT in 2015 and has been engaged in various academic activities while being the module coordinator for Communication Skills (IT 1040).
Furthermore, she works as a SLIIT partner, under the title University Associate of Faculty of Science and Englineering at Curtin University.
In addition, she provides her services to SLIIT as the Communication Skills module coordinator since 2017
Prior to that she had also been English for Academic Purposes module coordinator from 2016-2017
She is also a visiting lecturer and an external examiner at ELTU, University of Kelaniya since 2017 to date
She had also been a visiting lecturer at University of Colombo from 2016 to 2018
Prior joining SLIIT, she had been a lecturer at the English Language Teaching Unit, at the University of Kelaniya. In fact, she had been a member of the ELTU Research Group as well.
She had also been an intern as a translator, in 2013, at the Ministry of External Affairs, Sri Lanka.
Moreover, she had been a member of the Faculty of Computing and Hackathon Organizing Committees of CODEFESTs held in 2016 to 2017 respectively.
