The Bachelor of Information Technology is focused on the three pillars of data, code, and people. Students will benefit from the program that allows them to undertake a core set of courses, as well as the opportunity to specialize in any of these interconnected areas. Working across these three areas, students will graduate as creative technologists, able to apply technical expertise to complex human problems. Unique to this program is a project-based studio stream where the student will apply cumulative knowledge to the design and development of novel technologies. A studio is a place where students drive their own learning. Students are expected to be active learners who take a hands-on approach to work in teams to develop ideas. The Bachelor of Information Technology will not only equip you with the design and technical skills you need but also the teamwork and communication skills that are essential in today’s job market.
