The Faculty of Computing is the largest faculty in Sri Lanka, boasting over 13,000 students and more than 160 staff members.

Our IT degree program encompasses specializations in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Systems and Networking, Interactive Media, and Cyber Security. Each curriculum is meticulously designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to thrive in the fast-paced world of computing. Our IT degrees are accredited by the IET and CSSL. In 2023, we introduced two new degrees in Computer Science and Computer Systems Engineering, specifically tailored to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving technology sector. Additionally, the Faculty offers Master of Science degrees in five disciplines: Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Cyber Security, and Enterprise Application Development. We also provide opportunities to pursue MPhil and PhD degrees in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Computer Networks.
