CAREER SUMMARY
Chathurini Kumarapperuma is a lecturer in Business Management attached to SLIIT Business School serving the faculty for more than 15 years. Her teaching expertise spans to several disciplines including Information Systems, Management Accounting, and Project Management. She completed her Bachelor of Scinece degree in Information Technology, specializing in Information Systems, with a First Class Honours and subsequesntly obtained an MSc in Project Management from Keele University with a Distinction.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, she has contributed extensivly to faculty administration and student engagement initiative. She has served as the Senior Treasurer of Faculty of Business Students' Community, the Faculty Coordinator for Examinations and Timetabling, and Senior Treasurer of Students' Interactive Society (SIS) at SLIIT.
Her academic experience includes:
- 04/2018 to date – Senior Lecturer, SLIIT Business School, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Sri Lanka.
- 09/2015 – 03/2018 – Lecturer, Faculty of Business, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Sri Lanka.
- 2010 – 2015 – Assistant Lecturer, Faculty of Business, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Sri Lanka.
