  • UGC|MOE

    Recognition/Approvals by the national regulatory body, ensuring the institution adheres to educational standards set by the government of Sri Lanka.

  • International Association of Universities (IAU)

    A global network of higher education institutions, ensuring SLIIT’s alignment with global education standards.

  • Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

    SLIIT is the first Non-State Higher Education Institute in this process with AACSB.

  • Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)

    Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.

    SLIIT Business School is the first Sri Lankan business school to have ISER accepted by AACSB.

    A Qualifying Law Degree recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, UK

    A Qualifying Law Degree recognised by the  Bar Standards Board, UK.

  • Council of Legal Education, Sri Lanka

    The LLB (Hons) programme is recognized by the Council of Legal Education, Sri Lanka. 

  • Engineers Australia (EA)

    Queensland Engineering programmes are accredited under Engineers Australia (EA) Standards.

  • Australian Computer Society (ACS)

    Queensland Computing programmes are Accredited by Australian Computer Society (ACS)

  • Private Health Services Regulatory Council (PSHRC)

    SLIIT School of Nursing, under the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences, is recognised as a government-approved private nurse training school.

  • Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

    SLIIT’s BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying programme, offered in collaboration with LJMU, has received RICS accreditation
