I joined SLIIT in 2019 as an undergraduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and I’m truly grateful to now be graduating with a Merit Award in my specialization.
The academic staff of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering were instrumental in our success. Their commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience—whether academic or project-related—made a significant impact.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, SLIIT ensured a smooth transition to online learning, allowing us to continue our studies without interruption and graduate on time.

Hi everyone, I’m Buddhimal Wicramanayake, and I recently completed my Master’s Degree in Architecture. I joined SLIIT in 2022 as a graduate student, and from the very first day I entered the Faculty of Architecture, it truly felt like a second home.
I sincerely appreciate the friendly and supportive academic staff, the excellent laboratory facilities, and the 24/7 studio access that greatly enhanced our learning experience. As an affiliated university of Liverpool John Moores University, we also had access to valuable international resources using our LJMU student ID credentials, which added significant value to our studies.
