CAREER SUMMARY
My career journey reflects a dynamic blend of academic excellence, research engagement, industry exposure, and leadership experience, enabling me to develop a well-rounded perspective across both education and corporate sectors. I began my professional career as a Program Coordinator at Tuter Project Academy, Nawala, where I gained foundational experience in academic administration and student development. I subsequently joined the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) Business School, progressively advancing through the roles of Instructor, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer, and currently serving as a Senior Lecturer.
Throughout my academic career, I have been actively involved in teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic administration, particularly in the areas of Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, People Analytics, and Digital Transformation. My research contributions have been recognized through several indexed journal publications, conference presentations, and research excellence awards. In addition, I have undertaken leadership responsibilities in organizing major academic and extracurricular initiatives, including serving as the Chair and Program Head of VogueFest and contributing to various institutional development activities at SLIIT Business School.
Complementing my academic experience, my role as an International Relationship Executive at Senka Aero International enhanced my exposure to global business operations, international collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management. Furthermore, my involvement with Leasing.lk as a business intermediary and strategic collaborator has strengthened my practical understanding of industry dynamics, entrepreneurship, and customer relationship management.
These diverse experiences have equipped me with the ability to effectively bridge academia and industry, fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-driven impact while contributing meaningfully to both student development and organizational growth.
