ONGOING RESEARCH
Project - 3D Aerial Mapping and Motion Tracking (3AM)
Main objectives of this project is to develop a unique piece of software for detecting and discarding overlaps in aerial images. Outcome of this work will be a single 3D cloud image constructed from a group of 3D aerial images. The software about to implement is an open source, which gives the maximum flexibility in future expansions.
Sri Lanka Army(SL Army) and Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology(SLIIT) are the two main parties involved in this project.
