CAREER SUMMARY

Mallawa Arachchige Nipuni Maleesha is a Statistics graduate with First Class Honours from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Performance. She is currently working as a Lecturer at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and has previous academic experience as a Temporary Lecturer and a Temporary Demonstrator at the University of Kelaniya.

Her academic and research interests include statistical modelling, machine learning, computational statistics, time series analysis, stochastic processes, and data science applications. She is actively engaged in research activities, with conference papers, abstracts, and ongoing research work in areas related to statistics, AI, and data-driven modelling.

She is passionate about applying statistical and computational methods to solve real-world problems across interdisciplinary domains and aims to pursue advanced research in Statistics and Data Science.
