CAREER SUMMARY

Dr. Wasantha Rajapakshe is an Associate Professor at SLIIT Business School, SLIIT. Before joining SLIIT, she held key academic positions, including Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at Jubail University College, Saudi Arabia, and Assistant Professor and Assistant Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at St. Theresa (Inti) College, Thailand. She has also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Troy University, USA (Thailand Program) and as a Senior Lecturer (Grade 1) at the Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce, University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka.

With extensive experience in teaching management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Rajapakshe has supervised research for students in national universities in Sri Lanka as well as at Troy University, USA (Thailand Program). At SLIIT, she specializes in teaching Human Capital Management and Strategic Management for graduate and undergraduate students. Her primary teaching and research interests lie in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organizational Behaviour, with a research focus on the human aspects of organizations.
