SLIIT Welcomes Curtin Colombo Pro Vice-Chancellor to Strengthen Long-Standing Partnership

A milestone visit to mark a partnership built over 25 years.

SLIIT was delighted to welcome Prof. Rebecca Walker, newly appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor of Curtin Colombo, to the SLIIT Malabe Campus on 17th June 2026.

Prof. Walker met with the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, and members of SLIIT's senior leadership and academic faculties — with discussions centred on deepening existing collaborations, expanding research opportunities, and exploring new avenues for academic partnership.

The visit also included a tour of the Malabe Campus, offering a firsthand look at SLIIT's facilities and the learning environment we are proud to offer our students.

As SLIIT and Curtin University look ahead, we remain committed to creating meaningful opportunities — for our students, our faculty, and the broader academic community.
