SLIIT has entered into a partnership with Kosin University, South Korea, further strengthening its global network of academic collaborations and creating new international opportunities for students and staff. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Lee Jung-ki, President of Kosin University, and Prof. Lalith Gamage, Vice Chancellor and CEO of SLIIT, in the presence of Prof. Lakshman Ratnayake, Chancellor of SLIIT, together with the senior leadership teams of both institutions.

This partnership will promote student and staff exchange and mobility programmes, collaborative research initiatives, and academic and cultural exchange between Sri Lanka and South Korea. Through this collaboration, SLIIT and Kosin University aim to enhance academic excellence, foster innovation, and provide students with valuable international exposure while strengthening educational and research ties between the two institutions.
