Codefest 2026 Inspires Over 400 Students at Dhammissara National School

Codefest 2026 dropped in at Dhammissara National School, Nattandiya, and the energy was unbeatable!

On 2nd July, the SLIIT Faculty of Computing welcomed over 400 students for a day packed with hands-on learning:

Coding — Grades 10 & 11

Internet of Things — Grade 12

From writing their very first lines of code to discovering how everyday devices connect and communicate, these students got a real taste of the skills shaping tomorrow's world!

A huge thank you to our Faculty of Computing academics who brought their expertise to every session: Ms. Dinithi Pandithage, Mr. Ashvinda Iddamalgoda, Mr. Chanura Jayawardana, Mr. Chamika Senadheera and Ms. Menaka Bogollagama.
