CSR Initiative in Zero-hunger Project: “Bloom”
“Bloom” the zero-hunger project is a CSR project organized by the second-year, second-semester students of the SLIIT Business School. The project “Bloom” was held on 15th September 2024 at Buddhist Lady’s Child Development Center, Gampaha.
The project aimed to provide long-term support to 26 children residing at the center, ensuring their nutritional well-being, education, and other basic needs while aligning with broader sustainability goals. The months of careful planning, dedicated fundraising efforts, and strong student collaboration made "Bloom" a success while allowing the members to raise awareness and gather the necessary resources to support the children at the center, ensuring their needs were met effectively.
