DOCKFEST 2026: Official Launch of "Dockyard – Volume 2" by SLIIT Business School

Dockfest 2026 celebrated student talent, industry collaboration, and the future of supply chain management, headlined by the prestigious launch of Dockyard – Volume 2, the official Logistics Magazine of SLIIT Business School.

Bringing academic thought leadership and industry perspectives together, Dockyard – Volume 2 showcases cutting-edge articles authored by undergraduate minds alongside valuable contributions from seasoned industry leaders. 🚢📦📰✨

A centerpiece of the event was the thought-provoking panel discussion, "Beyond Boundaries, Toward Tomorrow," exploring emerging trends, disruptions, and the critical competencies required in modern logistics, featuring esteemed luminaries:

  • Prof. H. R. Pasindu – President, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) & Professor of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa

  • Ms. Roshani Masakorala – Airport Manager, Global Airports Operations, Etihad Airways

  • Mr. Dharshana Wijemanne – Director & CEO, Advantis 3PL

  • Mrs. Amali Mudunkotuwa Mendis – General Manager Operations, Regency Teas

DockFest 2026 was organized by the student body of the Logistics Club, under the expert guidance of an Advisory Panel led by Prof. Renuka Herath, Acting Dean of SLIIT Business School, alongside lecturers in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The event provided undergraduates with an invaluable opportunity to demonstrate leadership and build dynamic networks with CILT Council Members and WiLAT (Women in Logistics and Transport) Sri Lanka Executive Members.
