On 5th June 2026, SLIIT visited Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya, Kurunegala, and presented a session on "Future Opportunities for School Girls in the Engineering Field" — a conversation about possibility, potential, and the exciting paths that lie ahead.
Prof. Shiromi Karunaratne- Professor | Department of Civil Engineering and Ms. Thanushika Jayathunga - Senior Lecturer | Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at SLIIT, shared insights on the vast opportunities in engineering, emerging technologies, and the rewarding careers that await young women ready to shape the world around them.
