Project Play and Grow

The group has donated essential sports equipment to Thalpadiwela Primary School – Meegahathenna.
The group has developed a herbal garden in Thalpadiwela Primary School – Meegahathenna. Moreover, the group has conducted a scholarship model paper discussion seminar for grade 4 and 5 students and donated books and stationery items for the students. They have provided refreshments for all the students and teachers as well.
The group has held a health campaign for the residents of Thalpadiwela village and was given the opportunity to check their vision.
The group has repaired and renovated the Thalpadiwala Primary School’s well, built a public water tap, and given materials to self-employees in Thalpadiwala village.
The group has renovated and reestablished the Early Childhood Care and Development Center (“Gemunu preschool”) at Thalpadiwela – Meegahathenna.
The group has provided school stationeries to the students of Thalpadiwela Primary School – Meegahathenna. In addition, the group has sold handmade cushion covers and wall hangers to finance the project.
