The First SLIIT Young Biotechnologists Workshop for prospective students was successfully held at the Department of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Sciences, SLIIT.

Participants explored:

Fundamental concepts in biotechnology

Hands-on laboratory skills

Career pathways and industry insights in the biotechnology sector

The interactive sessions, conducted by the dedicated academic staff of the Department of Applied Sciences, provided students with valuable exposure to both academic and industrial biotechnology.
