SLIIT Donates Computers to Support Digital Literacy

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving digital literacy among schoolchildren, SLIIT recently carried out a computer donation programme benefiting eight schools where SLIIT's Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) students are currently serving as teachers — schools that lacked adequate computer facilities.

This meaningful initiative, coordinated by Dr. Virajith Gamage, Assistant Professor, School of Education, Faculty of Humanities & Sciences, is a step towards bridging the digital divide and equipping young learners with the tools they need for a tech-driven future.
