The 3rd SLIIT International Conference on Engineering and Technology (SICET 2024)

The SLIIT – Faculty of Engineering Malabe, Sri Lanka embarked upon one of its key initiatives to generate and disseminate scientific knowledge by organising the 3rd SLIIT International Conference on Engineering and Technology (SICET 2024). The inauguration ceremony of SICET 2024 was held at Waters Edge, Battaramulla on the 24th of July 2024 and Mrs. Thilaka Jayasundara, Secretary,
Ministry of Education graced the event as the Chief Guest. Moreover, Prof. Ranjith Dissanayake, President of, the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka and Vice President of the Chamber of Construction Industry (CCI) are to grace the event as the Guests of Honour. In addition, keynote speeches were delivered by Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya, a well-known energy expert and Dr. Karl Jones from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom. More than 100 participants from academia (from overseas, state and non-state universities) and industry are attended the inauguration ceremony of SICET 2024.
