SLIIT Rugby has once again secured the championship title, this time at the APIIT Extravaganza 7s Rugby Championship 2024, following their victory at the SLIIT Dozens’ Tournament.
SLIIT dominated the group stages and advanced to the semifinals, where they faced Imperial College Kandy in a closely contested match, winning 12-10. This victory earned them a place in the finals, where they played against NSBM. SLIIT powered through with a 12-5 win, claiming the coveted Cup Championship.
With this triumph, SLIIT Rugby continues to protect its championship crown, remaining undefeated throughout 2024 and conquering every rugby encounter in recent competitions.
