Successful Blood Donation Campaign Organized by SLIIT Metro Campus Students
The students of SLIIT Metro Campus successfully organized a Blood Donation Campaign on 19th August 2025 at the BOC Merchant Tower, Colombo 3 – 15th Floor, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Service.
The event, which began at 9:00 AM, saw enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and members of the public. The campaign aimed to support the urgent and ongoing demand for blood donations in Sri Lanka, and the turnout exceeded expectations.
Through this initiative, the students showcased their strong commitment to community service and public health. The organizing team ensured a well-coordinated and safe environment for all donors, with proper medical supervision and necessary arrangements in place.
