
A group of SLIIT students have won a�?FOSS4G Seoul Best Oral Presentationa�? award for the best student presentation, at the FOSS4G -2015 world conference held in Seoul , South Korea , 14thA�A�-19thA�September 2015.
Thejaka Mahaulpatha , Pasindu Chandraseka , Dananjaya Thathsara and A�Irendra Koswatta, final year students of BSc(Hons) IT degree program, A�won this prestigious award for presenting their research paper titled a�?Landmark Based Path Planning and Linear Path Generation for Mobile Map Applicationsa�?. The presentation was based on their final year project A�which was initiated by OSGeo lab of SLIIT and was carried out under Ms. Nimalika Fernandoa��s supervision.
