SLIIT had the honour to host the British High Commissioner, His Excellency Andrew Patrick, and a delegate from the British High Commission at our SLIIT Malabe Campus recently.
This visit provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase our state-of-the-art facilities and highlight our strong partnerships with leading universities in the UK. We discussed our franchised and articulation and research collaborations with the University of Edinburgh, Manchester Metropolitan University, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Hertfordshire, University of Strathclyde, University of Essex, Queen Mary University of London, and Queen Margaret University,UK.
The delegate was warmly welcomed by our esteemed Senior Management team, led by Prof. Nimal Rajapakse, Pro Vost & Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, SLIIT. The visit concluded with an engaging campus tour, underscoring our commitment to innovation and excellence in education.
The visit was organized by Ms. Asangi Jayasinghe, Director of Research Enterprise & International Relations. We look forward to strengthening our ties with the British High Commission and exploring exciting new opportunities together!
