SLIIT is dedicated to shaping knowledgeable individuals who contribute positively to the nation, fostering not only academic excellence but also empathy and social awareness in our students. Through our ‘Educate with Heart’ initiative, SLIIT has proudly joined hands with the 1990 Suwa Seriya Ambulance Service, launched in 2016 to provide free emergency medical assistance across Sri Lanka, ensuring critical support for those in need. This initiative reflects SLIIT’s ongoing commitment to uplifting the Sri Lankan community and supporting the national healthcare system as part of our CSR program. The ambulance was handed over by Prof. Lakshman Ratnayake, Chancellor/Chairman of SLIIT; Prof. Nimal Rajapakse, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Provost of SLIIT; and Dr. Dhananjaya Bulathwatta, Doctor of SLIIT.
